What does a Physiotherapist do?
A Physiotherapist is a healthcare professional who finished a 4 year degree or a 3 year diploma in physiotherapy. A physiotherapist is well trained in evaluating the extent of any musculoskeletal injury or disability by using systematic assessment procedures which is followed by planning and implementing the appropriate physiotherapy treatment.
Physiotherapists aim to achieve the patient's highest possible functional capacity. They also restore function, maintain and promote overall health, wellness, and fitness.
Our physiotherapists are highly trained in manual techniques in improving mobility, relieving pain, restoring function, and limiting disability. They are also knowledgeable in body mechanics and in various therapeutic exercises that taylor every individual patient’s needs. Their aim is to provide hands on, one to one session as much as possible to each patient.
