Clinic Policy

 

FAMILY PODIATRY CENTRE S/B COMPANY POLICY 

Dear Valued Patient 

REGISTRATION  

For Medico-legal reasons, when registering with us for the first time, please fill out all the questions on the registration form.

 

Please use your full name as appears on your i/c or passport.

We require your address and telephone number to be accurate. 

PAYMENTS

Please settle the entire bill that you are issued with immediately. You cannot settle the bill on another occasion other than the same day.

We accept credit and debit cards, cash and cheque. 

Always take your receipt on payment. 

All prices are fixed at what is considered a more than reasonable rate so that treatment is affordable to all. 

APPOINTMENTS

Appointment cancellations/rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged a nominal fee for “appointment-not-kept”. This is to allow us enough time to arrange an appointment for someone else in need of treatment. 

Always try to arrive a few minutes before your appointment time to allow the nurses to conduct preliminary testing if required. 

We ask that you are mindful of the fact that there are patients waiting after your appointment and that the doctor/therapist's time is limited. 

We shall do our utmost to see everyone on time but apologise in advance if there is any delay. Being a clinic, we never know what each person will be presenting with that may require more or less time. 

If you are unable to wait please request a 9am (first patient of the day) or 2pm (first patient after lunch) appointment time. 

PRIVACY

As a patient, all information about you is treated with the utmost of confidentiality.

The patient file is only shared with practitioners that you are referred to for further care. Our patient records are digital and password protected and only certain persons have access to it. So feel free to confide in us.
